Much has been written about the apparitions at Fatima in 1917 and many versions of the story have been told. Here is the story of Fatima in the words of one of the seers - taken almost entirely from the Memoirs of Lucia of Fatima, written during World War II. I encourage everyone to read this story, and then to research a more scholarly approach to the Message of Fatima at fatima.org
